This database contains information on many of New Zealand's important weed species. New weeds are being added all the time, by our weeds expert at Massey University, Dr Kerry Harrington. If the weed you were wanting isn't listed, let us know and we'll make every effort to add it.

Any recommendations given in these pages are general recommendations, and do not specifically relate to callas. Most herbicides mentioned are not safe on callas. Herbicides that are safe to be used in callas can be found in the "NZCC Growers' Handbook" (1994). Which herbicide will kill specific weeds can be worked out using the "Novachem Manual" or "The New Zealand Agrichemical Manual".
